American Red Cross - Hampshire County Chapter 413-584-8887
A humanitarian organization led by volunteers, provides relief to victims of disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.

Amherst Committee for A Better Chance (ABC) 413-253-3602
Academically strong but economically disadvantaged students of color, usually from urban centers, live together in a family style residence and attend Amherst Regional High School.

Amherst Family Center 413-256-1145 Social support and parenting skills training for those caring for young children with the aim to improve the quality of family life, minimizing isolation and preventing child abuse.

Amherst Survival Center 413-549-3968
Provides for those in need in the greater Amherst community: food, clothing, companionship, referrals and the opportunity to volunteer their services and gain useful skills.

Behavioral Health Network,Inc. 413-747-0705
Improves the quality of lives for those with behavioral and developmental challenges through behavioral health services, ranging from crisis intervention/stabilization, to medication clinic, to individual therapy, to family therapy, to consultation, to psychiatric day treatment, to residential services, to advocacy, and to support services.

Promotes Latino empowerment and cultural pride in Hampshire County through providing services, developing educational spaces and facilitating action for social change in the Latino community.

A multi-generation, educational, recreational, human service agency, providing groceries, clothing, classes, programs, bus trips, youth programs and social events.

Friends of Children, Inc. 413-586-0011
Advocates for vulnerable children through: CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) providing volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children; AAMP (Adolescent Advocacy Mentoring Program) providing mentors for youth aging out of foster care and CAP (Child Advocacy Program) which assists in obtaining critical services for children.

Free food, clothing and referrals to low income residents of Hampshire County. Also distributes extra food for school age children during the summer vacation.

Serves people of all ages in Hampshire County by providing planned programs, including childcare, and space for the purpose of educational, recreational and cultural growth.

Non-judgmental support and services to survivors of domestic violence since 1977. Offers an abundance of resources and the full support of the community to survivors of relationship violence and their children.

Outpatient mental health and crisis services, EAP, early intervention, home care nursing, mental health and mental retardation/head-injured residential rehabilitation programs, and shelter and housing services.
